Terms of Service

Welcome to Kirin Wallet. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kirin Wallet mobile application ("App") and related services provided by Arraki Group limited ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our App. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our App.

1. Wallet Services

Kirin Wallet is a non-custodial wallet application for the Solana blockchain that allows you to:

• Create and manage Solana blockchain wallets
• Store, send, and receive SOL and Solana-based tokens
• View and manage your NFT collections
• Connect to decentralized applications (dApps) on the Solana ecosystem
• View transaction history and account balances

2. Non-Custodial Service

Kirin Wallet is a non-custodial wallet service, which means:

• We never have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or funds
• You are solely responsible for safeguarding your private keys and seed phrases
• We cannot recover your wallet if you lose your seed phrase or private keys
• We cannot reverse, cancel, or modify your blockchain transactions
• We do not have the ability to freeze or seize your assets

3. User Responsibilities

By using Kirin Wallet, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your wallet credentials
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or security breach
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must back up your seed phrase in a secure location
• You will not use our App for any illegal activities or in violation of any applicable laws
• You understand the risks associated with cryptocurrency transactions and blockchain technology
• You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all transaction details before confirming any transaction

4. Risks

Using blockchain technology and cryptocurrency involves significant risks. By using Kirin Wallet, you acknowledge and accept these risks, including but not limited to:

• Price volatility of cryptocurrencies
• Potential for permanent loss of assets due to:
  • Lost or forgotten seed phrases or private keys
  • Sending assets to incorrect addresses
  • Phishing attacks or other security breaches
  • Smart contract vulnerabilities or exploits
• Blockchain network congestion, delays, or failures
• Regulatory changes that may affect cryptocurrency ownership or transfers
• Software bugs or technical malfunctions

5. Transaction Fees

When you send transactions on the Solana blockchain using Kirin Wallet:

• You will be responsible for paying network transaction fees (gas fees) required by the Solana blockchain
• These fees are paid directly to network validators and are not received by Arraki Group Limited
• Network fees fluctuate based on network congestion and are outside our control
• Kirin Wallet may charge additional service fees for certain premium features, which will be clearly disclosed

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by Arraki Group limited and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our App
• Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of our App
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Use our brand name, logos, or trademarks without our prior written consent

7. Third-Party Services and dApps

Kirin Wallet may allow you to connect to third-party decentralized applications (dApps) and services. When using these services:

• You do so at your own risk
• We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any third-party services
• You should review and understand the terms and privacy policies of those third-party services
• We are not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from your use of third-party services

8. Service Availability and Updates

We strive to maintain high availability of our App, but:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our App
• We may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, updates, or security reasons
• We may update the App periodically to add new features or fix bugs
• You are responsible for keeping your App updated to the latest version
• Older versions of the App may not be supported and may contain security vulnerabilities

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• We are not responsible for any losses resulting from:
  • User error, such as forgotten passwords or incorrectly entered addresses
  • Unauthorized access to your device or wallet
  • Blockchain network issues or failures
  • Regulatory actions or changes in law
  • Force majeure events

10. Compliance with Laws

You agree to use Kirin Wallet in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. You represent and warrant that:

• You are not subject to sanctions or located in a sanctioned country
• You will not use our App for money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal activities
• You will comply with all applicable tax reporting requirements for your cryptocurrency transactions
• You are of legal age to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App will cease immediately
• You will still have access to your wallet through your seed phrase using other compatible wallet applications
• Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes. Changes to these Terms are effective when they are posted on this page.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR.
